Who We Are

Hello! My name is Jasmine Sanders. My husband, Parker, and I live in Radford, VA along the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains.

We have a small homestead situated along the Little River. When we aren't tending to our dogs, chickens, rabbits, or garden we enjoy kayaking, entertaining friends, or watching the latest Marvel movie. We love adventures and travel whenever we can. It is our hope to visit all of the National Parks - we're already half way there.

Dogs, and animals in general, have always been a big part of my life. Although growing up I only had one family dog (a Golden retriever, Labrador Retriever mix named Jessie) I spent a lot of time working on horse farms or pet sitting and training the neighborhood dogs.

As an adult my first two dogs were mixed breeds from responsible shelters. It was with them that I began my journey into the world of dog training. Both dogs taught me (and continue to teach me) a great deal about responsible dog ownership, but due to health and temperament challenges my experiences with them have been very limited. So, when my husband and I decided to seek out a puppy to become my Service Dog, we knew that we wanted to pick a breed that would fit my specific needs and who came from a responsible breeder with health tested lines.

After a LOT of research, I kept coming back to a breed that I had an interest in since I was a child; the Beauceron. I spoke to many, many, MANY people about their first hand experience with the breed. I joined facebook groups and contacted several breeders to inquire about both their practices and their individual dogs. Then in 2018 I took the leap and put a deposit down on a puppy from Karla Davis (Chateau Rocher) and in August of that year I brought home my heart dog and my life line, Lily.

What We Do

Our goal is to produce versatile herding and working dogs who are sound in both mind and body. We want to strive for Beaucerons who enjoy a job, but who can also settle in the home. A constant companion that can be trusted in a variety of situations and can excel in a number of different sports venues.

Where We Hope To Go

We aim to preserve the breed in type, temperament and work ability while also working toward an overall healthier dog who is more adapted to functioning in today's society.
